The 2nd International Conference on Econometrics and Business Analytics (iCEBA) 2022 will meet on September 8-10 in Armenia this year. It is hosted by the American University of Armenia and the Central Bank of Armenia. The theme is Time Series methods.
iCEBA 2022 is organized by the Center of Econometrics and Business Analytics (CEBA) of Saint Petersburg State University, American University of Armenia, Central Bank of Armenia, and the Armenian Economic Association.

Armenia 2022 World Press Freedom Ranking
From 180 countries, Armenia is ranked 51st in the 2022 World Press Freedom Index published by the Reporters Without Borders. This is a significant improvement from the 63rd place in the previous year, and compares very favorably to countries in the neighborhood

Armenian Economic Association 2022 Annual Meetings
The 12th Annual Meetings of the Armenian Economic Association will be held on June 30, July 1 and July 2, 2022. The Meetings will be held in a mixed format: Most sessions will meet in Armenia in-person and some will be organized virtually via Zoom.
Papers in all areas of economics and finance are welcome. Both theoretical and empirical research papers are invited. Research addressing issues of growth and development in Armenia and the wider region are highly encouraged. Topics may include economic consequences of the pandemic, that of the regional conflicts and sanctions, patterns of trade and integration, trends in labor markets and migration, tax policy, income inequality, regulatory reforms, health, environment, or other topics on current advances in economics and finance.
Confirmed keynote speakers: Paula Bustos (CEMFI), Nico Voigtländer (UCLA) and Joao Pedro Farinha (ADB).
Submissions: Abstracts of less than 500 words can be submitted by filling out the conference participation form following this link by April 30th; decisions by May 15th. The conference is free with no cost to present and participate. In the submission form, please indicate whether you prefer to travel to Armenia or to present virtually. Proposals on complete sessions are encouraged.
Best Paper Awards are made available to young scholars (Grigor Artzruni award) and for general interest papers (Armen Alchian award), as well as by the International Monetary Fund for papers in macroeconomics. Submission of completed papers in advance is required to be considered for the awards.
Travel scholarship: The AEA will make available a limited number of travel scholarships especially for researchers based in Europe and the region. Upon submission, please indicate whether you are applying for a scholarship.

Armenian 2020 Household and Labor Force Surveys Released
The 2020 Household Integrated Living Conditions Survey was recently released by Armstat. There are 5184 households with 17066 members in the survey, which is available both as xls and sav (spss) files.
The 2020 Labor Force Survey was also released. It is also available in xls and sav files. It contains 27986 surveyed individuals.
